Erasmus Plus KA-107 action BEYOND EUROPE: Sant’Anna SCHOOL HAS BEEN AWARDED EU FUNDS FOR PHD STUDENT AND STAFF MOBILITY at partner universities IN RUSSIA

Sant’Anna School has been selected to participate in “Erasmus Plus KA-107” International Credit Mobility programme in Russia. Our PhD students, academic and administrative staff were offered the opportunity to train or teach in Russian higher education institutions: the Federal State Educational Establishment of Higher Professional Education Russian State Agrarian University-Moscow Timiryazev Agricultural AcademyFederal State Autonomous Educational Institution for Higher Education National Research University Higher School of Economics; and Saint Petersburg State University.

With over 13,8 million euro funding, the Erasmus Plus KA-107 supported Italian universities to expand their internationalization strategies. Through the Erasmus Plus KA-107 teaching mobility, Alberto Pirni, researcher of Political Philosophy at Sant’Anna School Dirpolis Institute (Law, Politics, Development) had the opportunity to give his lectures in Russia in October 2017. He visited the Saint Petersburg State University and in cooperation with professors Vadim Perov and Igor Larionov he lectured on “Kant’s Practical Philosophy”. As an academic teacher and an expert of the cooperation of scientists and institutions in different countries, he also contributed to conferences in Saint Petersburg at the “9th International Conference Theoretical and Applied Ethics: Traditions and ProspectsEthics and Revolutions” (October 28 - 30), where he presented his paper on “Crisis and Its Revolutionary Value: Reshaping the Vocabulary of Freedom”. At Saint Petersburg State University during the “4th International Research Conference – Mechanisms for Formation of Cultural Exclusion and Frontier Zones (CEFZ) – 2017”, he presented his paper on «Logics and Dynamics of Belonging. A Methodological Approach».
