FOOD SCIENCE AND COOKING: RECTOR PIERDOMENICO PERATA AND AUTHOR LUISANNA MESSERI TALK AT “PISA BOOK FESTIVAL” ON SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 12

On Sunday, November 12th, at 6.00 pm, Candida Virgone, as a journalist interviewing scientists about their research, will serve as a talk coordinator during the Pisa Book Festival meeting between Pierdomenico Perata, rector of Sant’Anna School and professor of plant physiology and Luisanna Messeri, author of many cookbooks and a frequent guest chef at “La prova del cuoco”- Raiuno.

Chef Luisanna Messeri, author of the book “Cibo e scienza: miti, paure e leggende alla prova del cuoco”, and rector Pierdomenico Perata will explore the biological and chemical concepts underlying food processing and explain the science and secrets behind recipes and cooking mastery.
