MASTER PROGRAM IN HUMAN RIGHTS AND CONFLICT MANAGEMENT: SANT’ANNA SCHOOL OFFERS 28 SCHOLARSHIPS TO POSTGRADUATE STUDENTS, 14 GRANTS ARE RESERVED to NON-EU COUNTRIES STUDENTS
The Master Program in Human Rights and Conflict Management is designed to provide legal experts and technical professionals with a theoretical and practical understanding of international human rights law, with a particular focus on the relationship between human rights and conflict resolution. The Master Program has been conceived to offer a range of employment opportunities and specialized work in government legal advice, international governmental and non-governmental organizations, private legal practice or human rights consultancy.
This first level master’s course is taught in English by highly qualified academic staff. Professor Andrea de Guttry of Sant’Anna School Dirpolis (Law, Politics, Development) Institute is the program’s coordinator. Admission into the program is highly competitive. There are a total of 28 scholarships available. 14 scholarships are reserved for non-EU students only. Learning methods include lectures, seminars and project works. Students will have 35-40 class hours each week to make a total of 440 hours over a 7-month period (January-July 2018). Students will spend approximately 2-3 months attending their internship (August-September) in Italy or overseas. On completion of semester 2 students will be expected to produce a final project work.
Tuesday 4 July and Monday 4 September 2017 are the application deadline for non-EU students. Tuesday 19 September 2017 is the application deadline for EU students. Applications received after these dates will not be considered.
