“ #sentiment ” will be the 2017 Pisa Internet festival’s most relevant topic. The 2017 Internet Festival on October 5-8 will focus on Digital Society, the wide variety of cybersecurity, fake news, big data, copyright, Industry 4.0, tourism industry and unconventional marketing tactics.

Building on the success of last year’s festival, the 2017 Internet Festival event remains a top destination where everyone can participate in the debates currently surrounding “fake news” and computational propaganda.

The Festival organizers say: “We need to focus on the digital community and new digital tools to measure public perception and #sentiment. We have to learn from the community feedback, understand sentiment and demonstrate commitment to deliver improved social policy”.

Sant’Anna School actively participates in the 2017 Internet Festival designed by Fondazione Sistema Toscana. Other partners include: Regione Toscana, Comune di Pisa, Registro.it, Istituto di Informatica and Telematica - Cnr, Università di Pisa, and Scuola Normale Superiore.
