Sant’Anna School is hosting the “JoTTo Fair” event on September 15, 2017. The joint technology transfer office of four higher education institutions - Sant’Anna School, Scuola Normale Superiore, IMT and IUSS, organized a workshop to promote knowledge transfer partnership between research institutions and industry. Organizers are expecting 37 research teams, representing disciplines as diverse as nanotechnology and cultural heritage to social science and soft matter physics.

Over one day session, researchers, companies and investors will meet to talk on advanced research concepts and project ideas. Almost 40% of research teams are engaged in life science technology development while another 40% work in the Information and Communication Technology (ICT) sector. The remainder is engaged in nanotechnology research and multidisciplinary initiatives for nanotechnology applications: agriculture and environmental communications and electronics, computational, and medical. The research strategy for Sant’Anna School and Scuola Normale Superiore includes the identification of focus areas to support the development and application of new nanoscale technologies in the fabrication of new materials for applications in agricultural and medical biotechnology.

The joint technology transfer office will support effective dissemination of technology and engage with industry and investors to find the best partners to move projects forward. The research teams are invited to pitch their ideas to the audience. To find out more about this event and to sign up, register here.
