Bio

Tommaso Mazzocchi obtained a M.Sc. in Biomedical Engineering in April 2013 at University of Pisa (Italy) with a thesis entitled: “Development and validation of safety systems for magnetically actuated endoluminal robots”. He is currentlyResearchAssistant at The BioRobotics Institute of Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, where he carries out research efforts in the field of biomedical devices, with a particular focus on systems aimed to face urinary incontinence and bladder cancer. He is inventor of 2 international patents related to artificial sphincters and artificial bladders.
