Patent search: strategic tools and examples

On Tuesday, July 5, at 9:30 a.m., JoTTO (Joint Technology Transfer Office) is organizing the seminar 'Patent search: strategic tools and examples', an opportunity to deal with the patent state of the art. The seminar takes place at the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna's Higher Education building (Aula 2, Via Cardinale Pietro Maffi, Pisa).

Abstract

Dealing with the patent state of the art is the first step in offering our ideas to society, and protecting and enhancing them. Why is it necessary to do a patent search? How and in what way is it possible to make a quality one? This and much more will be addressed at the seminar entitled "Patent search: strategic tools and examples" organized by JoTTO, the joint technology transfer office of the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna, Scuola Normale Superiore, IMT Scuola di Alti Studi di Lucca, IUSS Pavia, Gran Sasso Science Institute and SISSA - Scuola Internazionale Superiore di Studi Avanzati.
The area of ​​the third mission will be presented, some hints on what a patent is and specific cases of patent search. The ORBIT company was invited to outline the theory and presents the QUESTEL search engine with some specific patent search cases.
