Expert Workshop EDG - A modEl Driven Genome selection framework to dEvelop climate ready crop varieties

On February 27th, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Aula 3 of the Main Building at the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (Piazza Martiri della Libertà 33) hosts the workshop “A modEl Driven Genome selection framework to dEvelop climate ready crop varieties.”

The event explores the strengths and weaknesses of modelling and genomic selection approaches to support yield gains under unseen scenarios, drawing on experiences from Europe and Africa, and focusing on the integration of predictive models and genomic data to develop climate-ready crop varieties.
