Insurtech and sustainability. Toward a sustainable evolution in the use of technology and the role of information in insurance

On 13 February at 2:30 p.m., the online seminar entitled “Insurtech and Sustainability. For a Sustainable Evolution in the Use of Technology and in the Role of Information in Insurance” will take place.

The event marks the presentation of the results of the homonymous PRIN 2022 Project of Relevant National Interest (grant no. 2022W2Y8ES), promoted by the Dirpolis Institute of the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna. During the seminar, the outcomes of the research activities will be presented, focusing on the impact of digital technologies on the insurance sector, with particular attention to the role of information, policyholder protection, regulatory issues, and the opportunities offered by innovation to foster more transparent and efficient models.

The initiative aims to provide an opportunity for in-depth discussion and dialogue among academia, institutions, and industry stakeholders, reflecting on ongoing transformations and on the prospects for an evolution of insurtech capable of combining technological progress with sustainability.
