An Introduction to Antitrust Law: the Economic Perspective
The Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies hosts the seminar series “An Introduction to Antitrust Law: the Economic Perspective”, an opportunity to explore the economic foundations of antitrust law and the evolving relationship between competition policy, markets, and regulation.
The seminar series will feature lectures by Professor Mariateresa Maggiolino of Bocconi University, offering an interdisciplinary perspective on key issues in antitrust law, with particular attention to the economic principles underlying competition rules and enforcement in contemporary markets.
The series will be introduced by Dr. Giulia Schneider of the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies and will bring together students, researchers, and scholars interested in competition law and economic governance.
The seminars will take place according to the following schedule:
- 21 May 2026 | Room 5, Main Campus | 5-7 pm
- 22 May 2026 | Room 5, Main Campus | 10 am-12 pm and 2-4 pm
- 17 September 2026 | Room 10, Main Campus | 5-7 pm
