management - impatto e terza missione

Research area coordinated by dr. Jasna Pocek

This area focuses on the analysis and management of innovation processes aimed at improving the integration and effectiveness of healthcare and social care services, with particular attention to more complex contexts. The research activities in this area include the analysis of factors that may hinder or facilitate change and integration within care pathways, identifying the barriers and enablers that influence service transformation; the study of digital transformation to optimize healthcare services and institutions; and the co-production of services, in which patients, professionals, and institutions actively collaborate in the design and delivery of more inclusive services that are responsive to community needs. This also extends to understanding how to promote community building as an approach to strengthening collaboration among healthcare system actors and civil society, thereby improving governance and the effectiveness of local policies.
