Phd in Agrobiodiversity
The International PhD Programme in Agrobiodiversity is aimed at the enhancement of human resource capacities in the use and management of genetic variation in agricultural and natural systems, to improve the sustainability of agricultural systems and the conservation of genetic resources for the well-being of present and future generations.
The Programme is structured into two curricula:
Curriculum A - Plant genetic resources;
Curriculum B - Functional biodiversity in agroecosystems.
The aim of the Programme is to use a high-level teaching and research path to train persons of high scientific and professional profile who are just as able to successfully enter: national and international public and private research institutions; Organisations and companies working with advanced technologies in the field of plant biotechnology and crop production; Organisations and companies working in the organisation and planning of sustainable agriculture at a farm and territorial level.
