Collaboration Renewed Between the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna and the Unione Industriale Pisana: Education, Research, and Technology Transfer for Local Development
The renewal of the framework agreement between the two institutions strengthens joint activities in research, advanced education, technology transfer, and skills development, with particular attention to the competitiveness of the local business system and opportunities for the School’s students.
The Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna and the Unione Industriale Pisana have renewed their collaboration through a new framework agreement aimed at consolidating the relationship between research, advanced education, and the local productive system.
The agreement, signed today in the presence of Rector Nicola Vitiello and the President of the Unione Industriale Pisana, Andrea Madonna, confirms the joint commitment of the two institutions to developing initiatives designed to facilitate and expand technology transfer in order to improve the competitiveness of the local entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The agreement also includes the creation of training programmes, internships, and collaboration opportunities for the students of the School and participants in educational activities.
Areas of Collaboration
The main areas of collaboration between the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna and the Unione Industriale Pisana include the design and implementation of training programmes for entrepreneurs and employees of companies associated with UIP; the involvement of the School’s faculty members and researchers in advanced education activities; the development of initiatives dedicated to technology transfer and innovation; collaboration in studies, research, and interdisciplinary projects; the promotion of educational experiences and internships for students; and the periodic monitoring of shared activities through meetings between representatives of the two institutions.
The agreement will last for two years and will make it possible to define individual projects and operational activities through specific implementing agreements developed jointly by the two institutions.
