Edison SpA meets the students of the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna: energy, innovation and career opportunities
On Tuesday, February 24, the “Talento all’Opera” Lecture Hall at Palazzo Boyl hosted the event “Working at Edison: Roles, Career Paths and Recruiting – Energy, Innovation and Careers: Discover the Edison world, its business areas and how to join the company!”, promoted by the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna in collaboration with Edison SpA
The initiative represented a significant opportunity for dialogue between academia and one of Italy’s leading companies in the energy sector, offering students an in-depth overview of the Group’s activities, its development strategies, and the professional opportunities available to young talents. The meeting also marked an opportunity to highlight the entry of Edison SpA among the new corporate partners of the Fondazione Il Talento all'Opera a philanthropic organization established in 2020 on the initiative of a group of entrepreneurs together with the School, with the aim of fostering a virtuous convergence of public and private resources in support of merit and talent.
During the presentation, the Edison team illustrated the company’s main business areas, with particular focus on energy, technological innovation, and the sustainable transition. The most sought-after skills, key professional profiles, and entry pathways into the company were explored, ranging from internships and graduate programs to direct hiring opportunities.
Significant attention was devoted to career paths, recruiting and talent acquisition programs, and entry channels, including internships and direct hiring opportunities. The Young Community program promoted by Edison was also presented: a three-year development pathway designed for newly hired graduates, featuring soft skills training courses, networking initiatives, and a company social housing plan aimed at fostering both personal and professional independence.
The event forms part of the broader commitment of the Scuola Sant’Anna to strengthening relationships with the productive sector and promoting career guidance and placement initiatives aligned with its academic programs, consolidating strategic synergies between universities, foundations, and companies, and creating tangible opportunities to put talent “into action.”
