Marina Petri Appointed New Director General of the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa

The Board of Directors of the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa has appointed Dr. Marina Petri as Director General for a renewable three-year term, effective from June 1, 2026.
For Marina Petri, this appointment marks a return to the Sant’Anna School, where she was an Honor Student in Legal Sciences from 2009 to 2014. After earning a degree in Law, a Master’s degree in Economic Analysis of European Law from the College of Europe in Bruges, and a PhD in International Law and Economics from Bocconi University, Petri gained professional experience in both the private and public sectors. Since 2020, she has held senior management positions. Prior to this appointment, she served as Provincial Director of the Italian Revenue Agency and as a senior official at the Presidency of the Council of Ministers within the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) Task Force, where she was responsible for coordinating activities related to the achievement of the Plan’s targets and milestones.
