On 30 June 2026, the Erasmus+ MASTERY event "From theory to practice: Implementing micro credentials for a Sustainable Future" was held in Pisa, at Palazzo Pilo Boyl, organised by Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna as a partner in the project. The initiative, which brought together participants both in person and online, confirmed the strong interest in the topic of micro-credentials and their applications in educational and professional settings.

The proceedings were opened by the Scuola's team — Fabio Iannone, Giulia Alessandri and Annamaria Pesci — with an introduction to the Erasmus+ MASTERY project, followed by a presentation of the Scuola's project experience on micro-credentials, including the pilot carried out within the MASTER GECA programme through the dedicated platform. Also speaking were Dr Carlo Cavicchioli, who discussed the role of micro-credentials in supporting the transition to renewable energy within the Erasmus+ MiCRET project; Prof. Corsaro and Prof. Marchetti, who presented the experiences of UniParthenope and the SEA-EU network in the university context; and Dr Paolo Montemurro, who explored the use of micro-credentials as an operational tool for the creative sector within the Erasmus+ CREDEX project. The meeting stood out for its lively, interdisciplinary discussion, enriched by questions from the audience and a constructive exchange among participants.
