ONESEARCH: THE NEW USER INTERFACE IS NOW ONLINE

The Library has implemented the new version of OneSearch: new graphics, new features and simplified steps.

This development is part of a coordinated action between all the SBART institutions (Tuscany Academic Library System).

Among the new features, you’ll find:

  • “Virtual browse”: a new function that shows –based on the Dewey Classification- volumes with the same subject or similar topics; this feature is available on all books acquired since 2016.
  • To export the results of a search, the "Export to Excel" option was introduced, available for a single record or for a set of selected records;
  • When you apply filters to a search result, with the function “Remember all filters” you’re allowed to save them for the whole search session;
  • Voice search Assistant in the main search box, available in several languages.

From now, it will start an experimental phase of about a month, to test the new system and verify its functionality. For any suggestion, please contact us.
