Bio

In October 2011 Emilia Giusti obtained her Law Degree from the University of Florence, with a thesis on Environmental law, entitled “Environmental Protection in the Constitutional Court law: Biodiversity and the Rights of Nature”, supervised by Prof. Stefano Grassi.

In July 2013 she graduated from the School of Specialisation in Legal Professions, of the University of Florence with a thesis in civil law entitled "Health Care Liability: Guidelines, Good Practices and Protocols", supervised by Prof. Sara Landini.

In September 2018 she won a PhD scholarship in Consumer Law (International Doctorate) at the University of Perugia with a thesis entitled "Informed Consent Today: a New Legal Qualification".  The thesis has already been approved and filed.

In November 2021 she won a research grant at the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna in Pisa. The subject of the grant is "The Legal Profiles of Technologies Supporting Health Protection. The Case of the 5G SOSIA (SOS Intelligent Assistant Enabled by 5G) and the Legal Framework of Reference ", a Competitive Sector 12/A1 - Private Law, Scientific Disciplinary Area IUS/01- Private Law at the DIRPOLIS Institute of the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna of Pisa. Prof. Maria Gagliardi is the scientific responsible for the activity.
