Abstract

The workshop aims to critically examine the intricate intersections of human rights law, sustainability law, and environmental law across global, international, regional, and EU frameworks. Therefore, it will investigate the coexistence of diverse regulatory approaches, including deterrence and reflexivity in this field. Furthermore, the dialogue will focus on the interaction between environmental criminal law and due diligence law, as well as the shifting spatial dimensions of governance from territorial to transnational scales. Through collaborative engagement, the workshop seeks to foster deeper insights into the multi-faceted role of environmental law in promoting sustainable development while safeguarding human rights.
