Great Lakes region: old war, new peace?

The second event in the African Security Seminars Conference Series, “Great Lakes region: old war, new peace?” with Enrica Picco, International Crisis Group, is scheduled for February 17, 2026.

Enrica Picco, Director for Central Africa at the International Crisis Group, will present an analysis of the conflict and prospects for peace in the Great Lakes region (Democratic Republic of Congo, Rwanda, Burundi).
