Human Rights and Global Politics: Legal, Philosophical and Economic Challenges

Courses

During the first year the Ph.D. programme includes mandatory lectures. Some of the courses will address methodological skills (research skills, definition of a research question, comparative research methodologies, theoretical approaches, academic writing and presentation skills), while two main multidisciplinary courses will revolve around the topics of Human Rights and Global Politics.

Ph.D. students must obtain 150 hours:

  • 130 hours from the compulsory courses,
  • 20 hours from optional ones that can be selected also from every PHD programme of the School

PHD students are free to attend other optional courses (as supernumeraries) selected from the various other programmes of the Scuola

Courses and seminars are taught by internal faculty members, external experts, and professors from international Institutions.
