Giacomo Moretti è assegnista di ricerca in Meccanica Applicata alle Macchine (ING-IND/13). Ha conseguito la laurea Magistrale (2013) in Ingegneria Energetica presso l'Università di Pisa e il Dottorato di Ricerca (2017) presso la Scuola Sant'Anna. E' stato: Allievo Ordinario alla Scuola Sant'Anna (2008-2013); visiting student presso il Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory (USA); visiting PhD student presso l'Università di Edimburgo (UK), e visiting researcher presso l'Università di Trento (Italia). La sua ricerca si occupa di modellazione e caratterizzazione di trasduttori multifunzionali, con particolare attenzione alle applicazioni di energy harvesting.
