The lecture "The Sorcerer's Apprentice And Her/His Professional Community" by Professor Daniele Archibugi will take place on Wednesday 23 November from 9 to 11 a.m. in the Aula Magna of the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna. Archibugi, Professor of Innovation, Governance and Public Policy at the University of London, Birkbeck Collegee, will provide advice and tips for young researchers starting their academic life, sharing his international experience on academic communities, recently described in his book "The Sorcerer's Apprentice: Tips, Tricks and Tricks for Apprentice Scholars".

The appointment is part of the seminar series "The Lords of Academia: Tips for first year PhD students from former PhD students", organised by Valentina Cucino, Gianluca Gionfriddo and Niccolò Todaro, with the aim of providing knowledge on academic career paths and publication processes. The lecture will be open to all interested PhD students, internal or external to the PhD courses of the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna.
