EUROPEAN SECURITY: STUDENT OF POLITICAL SCIENCE TOP RANKED IN EU- COMPETITION, INVITED TO THE SUMMIT WITH FEDERICA MOGHERINI

A new award for a top student at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, whose paper was judged among the best three submitted for a competition organized by the European Commission on security matters. In the context of the Jean Monnet Module on European Neighbourhood Policy, edited by Serena Giusti, researcher at the Institute of Political Science - Dirpolis (Law, Politics, Development) of the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna. The paper by Salvatore Scala, a student of the Integrated Graduate Program in International Studies and Transnational Governance, was among the best three in the competition "Why is the European Union's foreign and security policy important for your daily life?", organized by the European Commission.

Thanks to this recognition, the paper by Salvatore Scala is going to be published on the relevant web page of the Global Strategy of the European Union. Because of the academic achievement, the European Institute for Security Studies and the European External Action Service invited researcher Serena Giusti and student Salvatore Scala to participate in the final conference on "EU Global Strategy", scheduled for Friday, April 22th in Paris, in the presence of EU High Representative Federica Mogherini.
