On 26 February 2018, New York Grand Central Tech welcomed Made in Italy 2020 event, the conference organized by iStarter to provide ten startup companies access to venture capital funds from around the world. The event Made in Italy 2020 was in London Stock Exchange in March 2016 and in Beijing in October 2017.
iStarter (one of the top European angel-led accelerators) selected the TECIP Institute startup Wearable Robotics from thousands (1,250 since 2016) of applications received, to participate in the event in New York, the city – after London and Beijing, that has proven to be a solid fundraising location.
iStarter has so far worked with 39 startups which have raised over than 135 million and created 650 new jobs.
Wearable Robotics produces and develops wearable robotic systems for rehabilitation, assistance and human-power augmentation.
