Italy and Brazil share the results of interdisciplinary research and analysis focused on food safety and climate change. Bringing together academics and policy makers from the Dirpolis (Law, Politics and Development) Institute of Sant’Anna School and the Law Department Ribeirão Preto of the University of Sao Paulo, the conference on Food Law and  environmental food sustainability aims at facilitating international cooperation in better understanding the changing food safety situation and developing strategies to address implications of climate change.

Mariagrazia Alabrese, a researcher working in the field of food law at the Dirpolis Institute, has been invited as a guest lecturer at the University of Sao Paulo for the conference on “Sustainable Development, Food Law and Climate Change”. Alabrese will serve on the student selection committee for the “Mestrado” (two-year postgraduate program) and join the dissertation committee.

Italy and Brazil’s higher education internationalization commitment is reflected in the academic and research collaboration launched by Sao Paulo University Professor Flavia Trentini who served as visiting scholar at Sant’Anna School in 2017.
