Just around the corner is the start of the second and final residential course of 2023 as part of the "STEM, girls get into the game!” project, which will start on Tuesday, July 18. The initiative aims to promote the choice of enrolling in STEM (an acronym for "Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics") degree programs by girls now attending high schools.

The 75 participants were selected for their interest in scientific university paths and talent demonstrated in their studies from among hundreds of applications from all over Italy. The experience offered by the project allows the girls to engage with professors and experts on the challenges of tomorrow's world and learn about the content and perspectives opened up by the study of disciplines such as biotechnology, robotics, computer science and physics, while interacting with personalities of international scientific prominence. During their stay, from July 18 to 21, the participants are hosted in the facilities of the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies, so they will experience campus life.

The STEM project enjoys the financial contribution of the Fondazione Il Talento all'Opera and is supported by PagoPA, which has confirmed its commitment for next years' editions as well, confirming its constant focus on orientation and university education, which combine with the recognition of merit.
