WHISTLEBLOWING AGAINST CORRUPTION: A PROFESSOR OF SANT’ANNA SCHOOL GIVES A TALK FOR THE UNIVERSITY OF TRENTO SEMINAR SERIES ON MONDAY, DECEMBER 11

On 7th December 2017, the University of Trento School of International Studies will hold a workshop on whistleblowing as an effective tool to fight corruption. Gaetana Morgante, professor of criminal law at the Dirpolis Institute (Law, Politics, Development) will give her talk presenting “A Change of Direction – Fostering Whistleblowing in the Fight Against Corruption” EU funded project (European Commission Internal Security Fund).

At the workshop sponsored by the Department of Politics and Social Sciences at the University of Pavia, Professor Gaetana Morgante will focus on the Italian “Agenda anticorruzione” issued by Transparency International. Professor Morgante, as a team member working on the TI Corruption Perceptions Index, will explore the Italian whistle-blower protection law, “the Whistleblowing Act”, passed in the House of Deputies on 15th November 2017.
