 Registration is open until Wednesday, May 8, 2024, for the Higher Education Course "Migrazioni per ragioni climatico-ambientali e protezione internazionale e complementare". The training opportunity is organized by the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa, as part of the project "Cambiamenti climatici, disastri ambientali e migrazioni" funded by the Fondazione Cariplo, in collaboration with the Systasis Study Center and ASGI.

The 16-hour, online course is free of charge and is aimed particularly at members of Territorial Commissions, employees of the Questuras, lawyers and judicial authorities responsible for evaluating applications for international protection and complementary forms of protection. Participants will gain a broad understanding of the nexus between climatic-environmental factors and migration in the context of international and national protection, also delving into case law and also addressing the issue of vulnerability of protection seekers.
