Education

The Institute of Management is actively involved in education and training activities and courses, at different levels.

A first level consists of teaching and tutoring of undergraduates. IdM faculty actually offers courses for Sant’Anna’s students. These courses are not only attended by students of Economics and Management but, thanks to their interdisciplinarity, also by students from other disciplines.

A second level is the Laurea Magistrale. IdM collaborates with the University of Trento for the Master's Degree in Innovation Management (MAIN), attended by Italian and foreign students and taught in English.

A third level consists of post-graduate Master courses. Started in 1991, the Master in Innovation Management (MAINS) is the first in this field in Italy. Hundreds of MAINS graduates currently work in academia, companies and institutions of different industrial sectors. Also, at the post-graduate level, the GECA Master (Environmental Management and Control, linked to the SUM area), is currently active. Every two years, IdM has ALSO been running a post-graduate Master degree in healthcare management.

Completely in English, the PhD in Management represents the fourth level of education at IdM. For many years it has been training Italian and foreign graduates in innovation, sustainability and health management.

Finally, the IDM is also very committed on offering advanced and executive courses. Many courses are carried out and have being carried out in collaboration with companies and organizations of different areas. Executive courses on healthcare management are carried out with partnership with many Italian regions (starting from Tuscany) and foreign countries

Ad hoc Masters have also been offered in collaboration with Acque Spa, Enel and Telecom. International training activities have been carried out with Knauf, Valagro and many other companies.
