
Bio
Andrea Terlizzi is a Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute of Law, Politics and Development (DIRPOLIS) of the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa. He holds a Ph.D. in Political Science from the Department of Social and Political Sciences of the Scuola Normale Superiore in Florence. He has been a Visiting Researcher at the Centre for Health Economics and Policy (CHEP) of the University of Copenhagen, and at the Centre for Research in Health and Economics (CRES) of the Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona. Andrea’s main research interests include public and social policy, public administration and management, critical policy studies, policy process theory, institutional and policy change, and qualitative methods. His work has appeared in several journals such as Public Management Review, Policy Sciences, Territory Politics Governance, Journal of European Social Policy, Social Policy & Administration, European Security, Journal of Language and Politics, Rivista Italiana di Politiche Pubbliche / Italian Journal of Public Policy, Politiche Sociali / Social Policies. He is the author of "Health System Decentralization and Recentralization: Ideational and Institutional Dynamics in Italy and Denmark" (Palgrave Macmillan, 2019)
