Enrico Mezzacapo holds an L.L.M. in Food Law from LUISS Guido Carli University (Rome, Italy) and is currently a Ph.D. Fellow in Agricultural, Food and Environmental Law at the DIRPOLIS Institute of the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies (Pisa, Italy). His research revolves around the sustainability of the EU food system and the legal and policy framework around the ecological restoration of agri-food ecosystems.

He is currently a visiting research fellow in the Food Law team of Wageningen University & Research (WUR) and a member of the IUCN World Commission on Environmental Law (WCEL). Enrico worked as a consultant for the IUCN Environmental Law Center (Bonn, Germany) and the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (Rome, Italy).
