Developing and publishing original theories in management

The Institute of Management will hold a seminar meeting as part of its Seminar Series on Tuesday, September 10, 2024: Jury Gualandris  from Ivey Business School will present the paper “Developing and publishing original theories in management".

Abstract:

During this doctoral lecture, we will discuss the nuts and bolts of developing original scholarly contributions via empirical methodologies. We will review and discuss papers that leverage both quantitative and qualitative data and methods across management sub-fields (strategy, organization theory, supply chain management), to recognize patterns and templates that make a research paper successful in developing and conveying original and relevant scholarly contributions.
