On January 8th, at 11,00 a.m. in Aula 4 of Biorobotics Institute (Viale Rinaldo Piaggio, Pontedera), Jurgen Konczak, Full professor of the School of Kinesiology at the University of Minnesota, will held a seminary entitled “Human motor control and robotic rehabilitation: challenges and opportunities”, for the first lesson of Phd course “Rehabilitation Robotics”.

The seminar reflects on future developments of robotic devices in the field of rehabilitation. The challenge of new engineers is to create a new interaction between humans and robots.

The goal is to experiment new devices of robotic rehabilitation that can improve the interaction and encourage new scenarios of rehabilitation from diseases such as stroke and Parkinson's disease
