On December 11, 2024 , the intermediate workshop of the PNRR Extended Partnership 7 - SERICS - Spoke 1- CybeRights project will be held at Aula Talento all'Opera (Palazzo Pilo Boyl) to present the activities carried out by the research group of the DIRPOLIS Institute (Law, Policy, Development) and the other research units under Spoke 1 “Human, Social, and Legal Aspects,” and mainly in WP4 (Cybercrime and Cyberdiplomacy, coordinated by Gaetana Morgante, professor at Scuola Sant'Anna and Director of DIRPOLIS Institute.

Participants will include: the coordinator of the Cyberights project Andrea Simoncini, lecturer at the University of Florence, with his research group (Prof. Erik Longo, Dr. Matteo Giannelli); the research group in Political Philosophy, coordinated by Barbara Henry, lecturer at Scuola Sant'Anna, with Ilaria Santoemma, research fellow; the research group in Criminal Law, coordinated by Gaetana Morgante, lecturer at Scuola Sant'Anna, with Gaia Fiorinelli, research fellow, Maria Vittoria Zucca, postgraduate student and Dr. Sara Lilli. ssa Sara Lilli); the research group inDigital criminology coordinated by Andrea Di Nicola, lecturer at the University of Trento (with Dr. Gabriele Baratto); the research group in Cyber investigations, coordinated by Roberto Flor, lecturer at the University of Verona (with Dr.Beatrice Panattoni); and the research group in Cyberdiplomacy and Cyberwar at the University of Milan, represented by Dr. Agata Lavorio.

The following will speak as discussants: Caterina Sganga, professor at the Scuola Sant'Anna; Andrea Saracino, professor at the Scuola Sant'Anna; Anna Di Ronco, professor at the University of Bologna; and Stefano Marcolini, professor at the University of Insubria.

The event will also be the occasion for the presentation of the technical report entitled “Preventing and countering cybercrime through national, European and international strategies: a map”, which constitutes the first Deliverable of WP4 (Cybercrime and Cyberdiplomacy, coordinated by Gaetana Morgante).
