On May 7–8, 2026, in Pisa, the Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna will host the Purpose Forum, promoted by the Purpose Lab  of the Institute of Management in collaboration with Lab11.

The initiative aims to create a space for discussion on the role of Purpose in the Italian context, fostering dialogue among academia, businesses, institutions, and civil society, with the goal of reflecting on organizational models capable of generating economic and social value.

The program unfolds over two complementary days. On Thursday, May 7, activities will take place at the Santa Croce in Fossabanda campus, featuring an informal and participatory format, particularly aimed at young people, associations, and start-ups, including workshops, discussion sessions, and networking opportunities.

On Friday, May 8, the day will open at the Auditorium dell'Opera Primaziale Pisana  with plenary sessions and round tables involving academics, managers, and entrepreneurs, and will conclude at the Aula Magna of the Scuola Sant’Anna.

Held every two years, the Forum also aims to serve as an observatory on the level of diffusion and integration of Purpose within the Italian economic and social system.

The initiative is addressed to professionals, policy makers, faculty, and students interested in the organizational and cultural transformations needed to make Purpose a concrete driver of impact.
