The social communication and the academic world YES to the advantages, NO to the risk! A pratical guide
This presentation is promoted by the "Comitato Garante del Codice Etico" in collaboration with the "Comitato Unico di Garanzia" and is destined to all the persons that at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna use the social media for sharing experiences, images and videos.
The presentation will start with the introduction of Dr. Francesca Torelli, Confidential Counsellor and President of "Comitato Garante del Codice Etico" at Sant'Anna. The speaker will be Francesco Ceccarelli, journalist.
Based on the individual and institutional experiences of communication on social media, the presentation aims at providing food-for-thoughts on the personal communication on social media. Communicating on social media is an activity that is apparently free from rules, but not free from tricks (or risks) as it is interlaced with the communication of today's community and tomorrow's world. Such activity involves relevant issues such as privacy, information security, respect of the people and the institutions interconnected at various levels through sharing and online interactions.
The main aim of the meeting is to promote a greater self-awareness on social media and to focus on the results and risks, that social-media communication and sharing can generate even in the long term.
