FameLab, the talent show for young scientists
FameLab is the talent show aimed at young researchers under the age of 35 who study or work in the world of scientific, medical, engineering or humanistic research at public or private research institutions and who want to get involved in telling science in an exciting way and engaging.

FameLab was born in 2005 in the United Kingdom and has involved over 30 different countries. It has also taken place in Italy since 2012 with the coordination of Psiquadro in partnership with Cheltenham Festivals, creator of the format.
The co-organizers of the selections are Scuola Normale Superiore Istituto Nazionale di Fisica Nucleare – Sezione di Pisa, Università di Pisa European Gravitational Observatory e INGV.
During the day dedicated to the selections, the candidates will have to talk about a scientific theme in 3 minutes, in front of a jury made up of experts in the scientific sectors and in the field of communication. The best 10 will then bring a second theme in 3 minutes to the final scheduled for the same day.
The 2 winners will participate in the FameLab Italia Masterclass, in preparation for Bright Night 2023, Researchers' Night, scheduled in September.
To participate in the selection, it is necessary to complete the registration form by Thursday 4 May
