International Day for Persons with Disabilities
International Day of the Rights of Persons with Disabilities is celebrated on December 3.

The International Day for Persons with Disabilities was established in 1992 by the UN and was created to raise people's awareness of the issue of diversity and its value, of the inalienable rights of every human being, regardless of their physical, mental, sensorial or social condition.
The Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna promotes values and identifies as its primary commitment the overcoming of physical, cognitive, sensorial and cultural barriers in places of culture, with the usual slogan "One day a year all year round".
Below are all the initiatives and events open to the public to celebrate the International Day of People with Disabilities.
