What opportunities does the EELISA Alliance offer?
EELISA Communities e Joint Calls
Members of the EELISA Communities (students, faculty, research, and administrative staff) share a common interest. Together, they organize or participate in learning, research, innovation, and third mission activities based on societal challenges by applying to specific funding calls, the EELISA Joint Calls.
Mobility
Explore the short- and long-term mobility opportunities offered by the EELISA Alliance here. Acquire new skills, gain international experience, and participate in innovative continuing education. Cutting-edge courses, MOOCs, conferences, challenges, internships, hackathons, and much more await you. Mobility opportunities are open to all, and some offer ECTS credits and EELISA Credentials.
Joint Degree and Doctoral Programs
Several working groups within the EELISA Alliance are developing pilot programs, the so-called EELISA Joint Degree Programs, which involve two or more EELISA partners: joint bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs, as well as Executive Master's programs for professionals.
EELISA Student Competition
Have you ever imagined being part of a vibrant research community, presenting your work at a prestigious scientific conference? Does the idea of interacting with colleagues, exchanging ideas, and presenting your research excite you? If so, the EELISA Student Competition is an unmissable opportunity, perfect for showcasing your talents in various disciplines, including Engineering, Architecture, Natural Sciences, Economics, and Social Sciences. The EELISA Student Competition is held annually in June and hosted by an EELISA partner.
EELISA PhD Symposium
PhD Symposium is a talent development event that brings together doctoral students (considered "early-stage researchers"), faculty, and external experts. The aim is to offer these early-stage researchers the opportunity to present, discuss, and exchange research ideas. Talent will be developed along three dimensions: education and training, research careers, and entrepreneurial mindsets. The first EELISA PhD Symposium will be held on November 28-29, 2025 hosted by BME, Hungary.
