Floriculture, Innovations at the service of the supply chain: the Institute of Crop Science at the Sant'Anna School sponsors the SOI Technical Days. Professors Antonio Ferrante and Anna Mensuali convener and speaker
The Institute of Crop Science is one of the organisers of the event ‘Technical Days on Floriculture - Innovations at the service of the supply chain’ of the Italian Society of Horticulture (SOI), which will take place on 6 and 7 November 2025 at the CREA in Pescia.
The SOI, in collaboration with research bodies and universities, including the Institute of Plant Production of the Sant'Anna School, and with the patronage of Confartigianato Imprese, is organising the Technical Days on Floriculture - Innovations at the service of the supply chain, which aim to present a critical and comprehensive overview of current developments in the floriculture sector.
The GTSOI2025 will feature four thematic sessions with oral presentations and poster sessions that will take place during the afternoon of the 6th and the morning of the 7th on the following topics:
- Quality and post-harvest
- In vivo and in vitro propagation techniques
- Maintenance and enhancement of genetic resources and genetic improvement
- Agronomic techniques and crop input management.
Among the conveners of the event is Antonio Ferrante, and among the speakers is Anna Mensuali, both professors of Agronomy at the Institute of Crop Science of the Sant'Anna School.
