Meeting between a technical delegation from Società Stretto di Messina and representatives from the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa

A meeting was held at the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa between a technical delegation from Società Stretto di Messina, the concessionaire for the design, construction and management of the permanent road and rail link between Sicily and Calabria, and representatives of the Sant'Anna School, including Rector Nicola Vitiello and Director of the Mechanical Intelligence Institute Fabrizio Di Pasquale.

The visit to the School's laboratories allowed for the identification of a series of topics of common interest in the fields of robotics, photonics, advanced sensor technology and artificial intelligence. In this context, the technologies developed by the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies for potential applications in the field of infrastructure monitoring, inspection and maintenance were also explored in depth.
