The call for admissione at the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa isn't just for students leaving secondary school and entering university for the first time. There is also another educational programme, reserved for graduates and undergraduates, i.e. those who hold a qualification that gives access to Master's Degree Courses obtained from an Italian or foreign university, or who plan to obtain it by 31 December 2025. This is the so-called Second Level Competition, which for this academic year has 18 open positions, includes six competitive areas (Economics, Management, Political Science, Data Science, Industrial and Information Engineering, Agricultural Science and Plant Biotechnology) and, like the first level competition, guarantees the status of Student of the Sant'Anna School.

To promote this educational offer, the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa is organising an Open Day dedicated to the admission competition for Second Cycle Degree Programmes on Monday 14 April at 2.30 pm in the Main Hall of the main campus (Piazza Martiri delle Libertà 33, Pisa). The guest of the day will be Fabiana Andreani (@fabianamanager), a content creator specialising in career guidance and training for the under 35s. With over 300 thousand followers on her Instagram page, @fabianamanager is a point of reference for those who need advice on how to embark on their professional path.

The meeting is part of the orientation initiatives to promote the competition for admission to the Ordinary Level I and Single Cycle and Level II courses of the Sant'Anna School. The collaboration between the School and young digital creators is moving in this direction: science, and knowledge in general, is something within reach, accessible to all, to be disseminated even outside the canonical contexts and with new narrative forms.

The event with Fabiana Andreani is free and open to all. You can participate in person or remotely via WebEx. In both cases, you must register using this link.

The Open Day programme

A full immersion in the second level course at the Sant'Anna School of Advanced Studies. This is what the packed programme of the Open Day on 14 April has in store: it starts at 2.30 pm with ‘Three good reasons to enrol in the second level course at Sant'Anna’, an introductory panel with the participation of the Rector Sabina Nuti, the dean of the academic department of Social Sciences Anna Loretoni, and the dean of the academic department of Experimental and Applied Sciences Christian Cipriani. From 3 to 5 pm the panel ‘How the admission test is carried out: areas of competition and master's degrees’ is scheduled, which provides an overview of the competitive areas of the Level II Competition.
At 5 p.m. it's the turn of the students of the Sant'Anna School, while at 5.30 p.m. Fabiana Andreani will speak on the topic ‘Is it really worth it?’.
