Marco Frey, vice-rector of the Third Mission and full professor at the Institute of Management, and Fabio Iraldo, full professor at the Institute of Management, are among the speakers at the first edition of Pianeta Terra Festival, the multidisciplinary event scheduled in Lucca from 6 to 9 October that tackles the green theme from different points of view: social, economic, literary, financial, philosophical, food, historical, architectural and scientific.
The title of this first edition, managed by Editori Laterza and promoted by the Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Lucca, with the scientific direction of Stefano Mancuso, is 'A revolution for sustainability': planet Earth is our common home and, for this reason, it is necessary to inhabit it in a sustainable manner.

The participation of Sant'Anna School

In addition to sponsoring the Festival, the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna is participating with Marco Frey and Fabio Iraldo (Institute of Management). On Friday 7 October, Iraldo will speak at two meetings: the first, entitled 'Use your head! Sustainability is measured with the LCA' and organised in collaboration with Confindustria Toscana, illustrates Life Cycle Assessment (LCA), a scientific method for measuring sustainability. The second meeting, 'Financing the Twin Transition. Private and Institutional Capital for the Digital and Energy Transition', is organised by EOS IM and addresses some of the major challenges linked to the digital and economic transition.
On October 8, Saturday 8, Marco Frey presents the lecture 'Circular Economy. Una storia italiana', an analysis of the history of the circular economy.
