Professor Andrea Roventini invited to the presentation of the volume Beyond Economic Growth: a discussion on future economic models, between ecological transition and social justice
Professor Andrea Roventini, Director of the Institute of Economics at the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies, will take part on Wednesday, 26 November 2025, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m., in the presentation of the volume Beyond Economic Growth, edited by the Studies and Advocacy Unit of Caritas Italiana. The event will be held at the national headquarters of Caritas, in Via Aurelia 796, Rome.
The invitation extended to Professor Roventini acknowledges his scientific contribution and longstanding research commitment, which place him at the center of the national debate on the structural transformations of economic and social systems, as well as on issues related to inequality, social justice, and the limits of the traditional growth paradigm.
During the event, Professor Roventini will take part in a two-voice dialogue with Dolores Sánchez, representative of the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development. Their discussion will offer an opportunity to reflect on the challenges of the ecological transition, the need for innovative economic policies, and the possible pathways for steering production systems and institutions toward more equitable and sustainable models.
Professor Roventini’s participation in this event reaffirms the role of the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in contributing—through research and scientific analysis—to the public debate on key issues concerning the country’s economic and social future.
