HealthIntelAct Project: the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies hosts the second Training Week — 17 fellows attend a week of training in the field of health system governance
The Interdisciplinary Research Center in Health Science at the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies in Pisa is hosting the second Training Week of the European project HealthIntelAct, an innovative research initiative funded under the Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions – Doctoral Network, aimed at training the next generation of experts in Actionable Performance Intelligence.
Seventeen talented fellows from European institutions are taking part in an intensive week of training, featuring masterclasses and active learning sessions delivered by twelve faculty members from the Sant’Anna School of Advanced Studies. The activities are coordinated by Professor Sabina Nuti and a team composed of Anna Maria Murante, Vera Benedetto, and Filippo Quattrone.
The Training Week focuses on some of the most critical issues for the future of healthcare: health system governance, equity of access in remote areas, and environmental sustainability. The goal of HealthIntelAct is to improve the way healthcare and social care systems use data to make better decisions. Many challenges in the healthcare sector—such as workforce shortages, rising costs, and climate change—can be addressed more effectively when decision-makers have access to the right information at the right time.
