Research and technology transfer, innovations in health care, and opportunities related to the PNRR in the center of the third edition of TID (Toscana Inventors Day), the event where inventors from Universities of Tuscany meet companies

The third edition of TID (Toscana Inventors Day) will open in Florence on 27th September: an occasion that sees Sant'Anna School, other research institutions and companies come together for a day dedicated to inventors. The event, which is totally free, aims to promote the technologies and skills of researchers from the universities, focusing on the health sectors and dedicating wide space to the explanation of the initiatives that will be developed in Tuscany thanks to the calls of mission 4 of the PNRR, a generator of contamination and innovation opportunities for research and businesses.

In an effort to make interchange as much as possible, an opportunity is provided to meet directly with inventors to learn more about the technologies and expertise and representatives of the various PNRR initiatives presented in the morning. To schedule an appointment, it is necessary to write to urtt@regione.toscana.it, indicating the patent and/or expertise of interest. The initiative offers a wide range of choices, with Sant'Anna School presenting 45 patents: full list available here.

The day's program will consist of:

9 a.m. - registration

9:30 a.m. - institutional greetings

10 a.m. - technical talks on PNRR opportunities in Tuscany in the healthcare area

2:30 p.m. - one2one, R2B and in-depth meetings on the PNRR

4:30 p.m. - end of the event

The initiative is supported by the Region of Tuscany with the Regional Office of Technology Transfer, the University of Siena, the University of Pisa, the University of Florence, Sant'Anna School, Scuola Normale Superiore and Scuola IMT Alti Studi Lucca, Toscana Life Sciences Foundation and Distretto Toscano Scienze della Vita. Also collaborating in the event, aimed primarily at companies, startups, healthcare companies, investors, other public and private entities, are CNR Research Area of Florence and Pisa, Confindustria and Digital Innovation Hub Toscana.
