Sant’Anna School master’s program in “Italian Wine and Global Wine Market” will officially open on Thursday, November 9th. New students in the third edition of the master’s program, as the future “ambassadors” for the Italian wine all over the world, and representatives from the University of Pisa, the University for Foreigners of Siena and AIS, the Italian Association of Sommeliers, will gather at aula magna storica at 3.00 pm.

Alessandro Cellai, general manager of “Castellare di Castellina”, and Gennaro Giliberti, an officer who is responsible for the Direzione Agricoltura e Sviluppo Rurale of Tuscany Region authority will also attend the opening ceremony.

“We are proud to announce this new edition of the program - said the master’s course director Pietro Tonutti, professor of crop physiology at the Institute of Life Sciences. This Master program in “Italian Wine and Global Wine Market” has proven its focus on collaborative learning and interdisciplinary approach within universities. It meets the needs of the global market for expertise in wine industry and business. The program is designed to provide qualified individuals with fundamental skills and leadership qualities to tackle the new international challenges”.
