The Labour government: An early assessment
Course “2024: the super-election year” - Sant’Anna Political Science Seminars
Abstract
Following the election landslide on July 4th2024, the LabourParty was back to 10 Downing Street after 14 years in opposition. In this seminar, leading experts of British politics will provide an early assessment of the key actions and policies of the new Labourgovernment. Is Keir Starmer delivering on his promise for ‘change’? Are Labourplans to relaunch the economy working? To what extent are relationships with Brussels being ‘reset’?
Contributions by Patrick Diamond (Queen Mary University of London), Arianna Giovannini (Università di Urbino Carlo Bo).
