Bio

Gunter Robert Kanitz received the degree of the graduate engineer (FH) in Computer Engineering, from the HTW- Berlin (Berlin, Germany) and a Master degree in Network Centred Computing, from the University of Reading (Reading, United Kingdom) in 2010. In October 2015 he concluded his PhD in Biorobotics and the Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna di Pisa. His principle interests are the study of human/machine interfaces with a particular interest in the control of prosthetic hands; superficial and invasive electromyography; neural modelling, according to the signal theory of the central and peripheral nervous system; the neural control of movement.
